Carnegie Survey of the Architecture of the South

Carnegie Survey of the Architecture of the South includes architectural photographs of a number of North Carolina churches and religious institutions.

Project identifies 8000 volumes

We have identified over 8000 volumes (or somewhere around 1 million pages) to be digitized representing nearly every religious tradition. About 6000 of these are split between the partner libraries (Wake Forest, UNC-CH, and Duke) and the remaining 2000 are spread across some 218 libraries in and beyond North Carolina. We are currently in the process of physically inspecting the items and completing a copyright analysis.
