The Religion in North Carolina Digital Collection seeks to bring together, preserve, and provide access to primary materials of religious bodies in North Carolina. Materials would include the histories of local religious bodies (individual churches, synagogues, etc.) as well as publications of larger North Carolina denominations or cooperative networks. Type of materials may include books, pamphlets, reports, minutes, and magazines that describe the history of local religious bodies and their leaders. If you have a request for an item you would like to see included in this project, please visit fill out the 'Nominate a Resource' form here on the blog, or visit the staff portion of the Duke Divinity Library website and contact Elizabeth DeBold, the Project Coordinator, by phone, email, or post. If you would like to arrange a workshop or seminar on using the collection for your institution, please contact Ken Woo, the Doctoral Fellow. The EZ LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act) Planning Grant is administered through the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.
